Darkness Prevails...

It was massive I tell you. Huge..the biggest blackout I have personally encountered. It all happened while I was cleaning the espresso machine. It was so sudden. I was trying to fling open the cap to this apparatus, and when I did, it flung out and landed on Mashita (a friend at work, who was on the floor happily drinking her soup). She thought it was a rat or something. Hahah..At the very moment, when the cap hit her, the lights went off. We were like, what the hell?? Then we realised that the WHOLE area was pitch black! Scary at first, but it turned out to be quite fun.

School today was pretty okay. Mind Quest was the best, I must say. Memories of IAC are flowing back. Mr Chang hasn't changed his jokes a wee bit at all. The same old dirty jokes and one liners. So hilarious, the class was roaring with laughter. He's really a nice and understanding person lah. Looking forward to his class next week. As for Customer Service, it was okay. Nothing much to comment on that. World Issues..hmmm..contains some topics which I'm not sure whether my peers would be able to really contribute their experiences and accept perceptions contrary to theirs. I am not sure whether I should really share my experiences though. It's gonna be really tough on me. heheh..It's so much easier to bitch about it elsewhere. Not when twenty other people are judging every word I mention, ready to tear me apart and squeeze the guts out of me. Some nerve I have. Anyways, you guys won't have the slightest idea what I'm talking about. But it doesn't matter now. We shall see in a few weeks time.

WOO HOOO!!! Soul'D Out Won Again!! haha, well not surprised actually. Heehee..They were sooo obviously the best. Went with has, gabe and mon to this pub called Rav at Boat Quay because the competition (called Jam Nation 2004) was being held there. Hahah..it was so funny lah. The hassle I had to go through to obtain "clearance" from my mom to go there. And even after that, the morning after, I still got some comments from my mom. Hahah..Oh well.

Anyways, a new academic year started today. Nothing different actually, because on odd weeks (this is week 1, duh) my class starts at one pm on mondays. And at one pm, my class isn't really a lesson kinda thing cause its a four hour slot devoted to project work for fyp. And since I have been doing project for the whole of holidays, it wasn't much of a difference. Tomorrow's IS (Interdisciplinary Studies)day. This semester's IS modules seem to be more interesting than all those I have ever taken. Looking forward to those. Early day tomorrow at eight am.

Superficiality

Day 2 of using blogger. Hasinah was nice enough to suggest a tagboard. Makes the blog more impersonal I feel. However, blogs are meant for the eye of public. And to make it appealing, Tadaaa...a tagboard. Whats next? Photos? Music? New skin? haha..Nah..I kinda like the retro feel of the current one..with all the dots and stuff.

ANyways, work was fine today, except for the fact that we had to do some major cleaning up because some Datuk from Msia would be coming over for a "surprise" visit. Hence, all the cleaning up and all.

As for project work, ZJ and I still have lots to do. I managed to find some MSDSs (Hahah). The practical part is dreadfully mundane. My friends are so envious that my partner and I get to leave the lab so freaking early. But seriously, I actually want to stay for long hours and do REAL stuff. But then, I know that this is just a stage of the whole project. Blimey, for that. I just have to be patient I guess. Like the phrase goes, the best is always saved for the last.

A New Beginning, Or So...

Finally! I am in the league of thousands of others who have always managed to make me envious of their cool looking blogs. I have BLOGGER now! YAY! Oh come on, some enthusiasm here please? Now, I have to find a way to transfer my archives from my previous blog here. Anyone knows how to? Your help would greatly be appreciated. I tried to log on to my blog at opendiary, but it just does not want to cooperate with me. So I thought, if for the last time it still refuses to load, I am going to abandon (okay, not really abandon, but you get the idea) opendiary. And it really turned its back on me. So, here I am now. Oh stop it. I know you guys are happy to have me here. RIGHT?
